We are a Christian centered Alternative Birth Clinic/Center which adheres to high privacy standards. All results here are private, and are not sold or given to any outside parties, unless required by law.

 

Most births are natural and wonderful experiences, they occur without the need of interventions and medical “enhancements.” With Vicksburg Midwifery, you are allowed to birth in your own environment, which lowers stress levels immensely! This also allows the women move, bathe, eat and drink during her labor; whereas at a hospital it is not permitted.

What is a Traditional Midwife? A Traditional Midwife is also called a direct-entry midwife and is trained in various ways; through traditional midwifery education, as apprentice to a midwife, through self-study and/or a variety of workshops and conferences. They are trained to care for women during they’re childbearing years, through a normal low-risk pregnancy, uncomplicated birth, postpartum period and afterwards...
